That would certainly be great, especially for the entire continent of Africa. I have a feeling it might be optimistic to think we're going to find a cure to anything ever again, I'm not sure why it is that in almost a hundred years we've never really found a cure for more diseases, but somehow I don't think that will change anytime soon. I'd love to be wrong with my overly pessimistic predictions for a change, though. Here's hoping something comes of it.

Probably science was always working for cures, but they pass unnoticed and because sounds more awesome in the new to hear "a cure to aids!!" than "researching for a cure to aids"

Regardless, I think it'd be awesome because that lady would be able to say to God, I survived AIDS. God: Well how'd you die? Lady: Spontaneous Combustion. God:......ok well, in ya go.
