American Idol...please don't kill me Topdrunkee!!!
Yeah, ok so I was trying to watch New Police Story (of which I did a review by the way!!! Check it out!!!!) the other night when American Idol came on. My mom and stepdad just HAVE to watch it....in two DIFFERENT ROOMS at the SAME TIME!!!!!!! I'm in the living room with the BIG surround sound system and all that but yet...I STILL can't hear my movie because they just HAVE to frickin watch this stupid show OBESENELY LOUD!!!! My mom is using a 12 inch tv and turns the volume up SO LOUD I can hear what they're saying on HER tv better than my own!!!! Even though the one I'm watching is in the same room with me and her's is across the house!!!!! Yeah I asked her politely to turn it down just a BIT...but no that CANNOT happen since "tonight is the finals night!!!!!!" I DON'T CARE WHAT NIGHT IT IS I WANNA WATCH JACKIE CHAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So anyway, thankfully my friend got me a sound system for my Gamecube a few years back and since I figured out how to use it for my DVD player too I hooked it up!!! With that I can hook up headphones to it. So I hook it to the DVD player and plug in the headphones but I can STILL hear her CRAPPY SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thankfully it wasn't NEARLY as bad though. I was able to deal....but regardless....see how retarded people get about some stupid people singing?????!?!!??!?! I don't like that show...never have, but when I'm trying to watch Jackie Chan....LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!! :P Sorry this is more of a complaing thing than an actual look at the show...but who cares!?!?!??! The show is stupid and annoying and I don't wanna have to hear it just because EVERYONE in America watches it!!! Plus who's to say that I wanna see it all over the news and on tv even when it ISN'T on??!?!?!?!!? Because I DON'T!!!! Stop with thie evil show....or else we'll never be able to watch Jackie Chan ever again!!!! :P

Over here in Aus we have the exact same bloody thing. Ok, the winners from the previous 2/3 years have like died and are rotting in a gutter or something. And sometimes you wonder if the people they choose to be their so called 'Idol' are chosen out of sympathy or whatever. For example, one winner, Casey Donovan? She's fat and part Aboriginal, which makes her a 'minority group'. I mean, ok, cool, whatever. But then soon after came all those magazine/newspaper articles about her sad past bla bla bla bla bla and that yeah, she's so awesomely happy to have won, which is all very well and good, but as I said before, she is rotting in a gutter or something right now. And God, all bloody pop singers sound the same. I HATE those kinds of voices.

That's correct they do! And they don't sound like they SHOULD sing anyway!! I think it'd be great if they had a winner here who wins...and then just goes back to their normal life. It'd be hilarious! Then, they could say, "I'm the best" and not have to really care!! Plus, it's not like these artists are REALLY making anything of themselves anyway! Only the girl who won the first season is REALLY still around anyway...or are there others? I don't care, I just think the show is dumb and annoying...although I like the crappy singers at the first few episodes. That'd be the only reason I would even THINK of watching the show! Oh, hehe, there was a show here that basically acted like American Idol but instead of finding the best, they took the WORST singers and acted like they were good! Oh man it was hilarious! None of em got to hear the other's sing until they all had to sing together! It was so funny! If anyone sounded like they might POSSIBLY sound good AT ALL, they were kicked off. It was great.

I don't get it are you implying that I'm enamoured with that show? ...I hate American idol as well. The only American shows that I truly do watch are TNA wrestling (Low-ki AKA Senshi is the man!.) Family Guy & Aqua Teen Hunger Force. (Though those shows aren't as funny as they used to be.) If anything I only view American Idol as a cheap source of comedy,similar to how Jack Thompson entertains me with his religious crusade against video games. I'm one of those lost souls that likes to get cheap laughs off the misfortunes of others. Akura described a perfect example with Casey Donovan or what ever that fat chick's name was. (Was she the one with the big lips,and they tried to make it into a fashion statement like J-lo's big ass. Even though by Puerto Rican standards J-lo has a fairly small ass. hell it's small compared to most hispanic women in general.) Thaat whole show is full of retards,but that's why the comments made by Simon Cowell or whatever his name is are so damn funny. Coz he's always telling it like it is. (most of the time anyway.) Sure I may think Paula Abdul is pretty attractive,but that's more of a -*test*-('")ament to how old school she is. (She's been around since the 80's,and still a looker.)

Nah I didn't think you liked the show Topdrunkee I was just saying don't kill me for making a topic on that show! :P Eh, the show is dumb and I hate HAVING to hear it since the people try to be way too soulful (and in turn RUINING the songs in order to sound "good") and just sucking instead. I just think it's annoying that sooooo many people think it's such a good show. Plus, the fact that they are making copycats of it (?!?!?!??! like Coutry music versions and stuff????) is what's really sad. I think they should have me on there, I'd belt it out and I'd sing much better songs (because they'd let me....since I'm full of awesomeness!). But yeah they sing stupid songs that EVERYONE has heard too many times anyway, that I never even want to give it a chance. Well....anyway, I just bought a Megadeth cd! YAY! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
