Any Recommendations? i've thoroughly enjoyed killer7 (for gamecube) and was wondering if anyone would care to recommend a similar game ofr me to get.

I can't think of a single game that's anywhere near similar to Killer 7.
You might want to try Snatcher for the sega cd. Check out our affiliate
http://jjau.8m.com/ The Kremlin for more info on Snatcher.
It's a hideo kojima game so expect the plot to be some good ish.
I don't really like his Metal Gear Solid games, way too over melodramatic for my tastes.
However Kojima's earlier titles were off the hinges, such as http://policenauts.net/ Policenauts.
My current avatar is from a screencap of Policenauts.
XII had a visual asthetic style that was quite similar to K7,it's also the game most mainstream folks compare K7 to.
The Oneechanbara http://www.d3p.co.jp/s_20/s20_090.html is like Killer 7 in the sense that both games feature senseless exaggerated violence.
Oneechanbara takes it a step further by adding in a shitload of sex appeal.

An english Oneechan fansite.
SUDA51's Flower,Sun,&Rain (Hana, taiyo,to Ame) has a story that's just as wierd as Killer 7,but it's a bit more developed, and it actually makes sense.
(At least it looks it does,I don't fully understand japanese so I don't comprehend the full context of the game.)
Fear Effect is pretty damn close to being like Killer 7,but it has more of a hong kong movie action feel rather than a quirky/weird japanese movie/anime.
FE is just as controversial as K7. The second game starred two lesbos.
In terms of multi layered plot, interesting characters, overall art style & postmodern surrealism,
Atlus R&D1's
http://www.megamitensei.jp/ Megaten rpg games are probably the only other titles out there that's anywhere near close to resembeling Killer 7.
They finally made some waves in the states with the relesase of Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne & DDS 1 & 2.
I recommend Persona,Persona 2 Eternal Punishment, and if you import try Devil Summoner 2 SoulHackers,& the brand new title that's dropping in march Devil Summoner 3.

(note: i have 13, and have found it VERY different to killer7. dissappointingly so. alas, the one friend who is likely to appreciate killer7 has but an xbox, the one of teh 'big 3' that does not feature the game, alas.)

If you want nice plot twists, stealth action, awsome in game movie quality cutscenes, and slick graphics, I suggest "Metal Gear Soild The Twin Snakes" which is a GC exclusive game.
And of course, all the Resident Evil games are on GC, especially RE4.
Akura- 04-26-2006
The RE games (save for the remake of the first one and 4) on the GCN were supposed to be pretty bad though, weren't they?
Jedilink- 04-27-2006
Well depending on the use of "bad" in this instance I'd say YES! if you mean all kinds of AWESOME! And Resident Evil 4 was the best game to come out last year by the way! All of the Resident Evil games on the cube are good (which I guess would include all of em! :P)! But yeah the RE games are good. I only have a GC as well so it's great when I can find a good GC game! I'll check my stuff and see what good games I've got and let you know some more good ones!
Akura- 04-27-2006
No! Bad! As in 'not good'! XD
But I've got RE for the DS and it's... well, meh. I would put all my money on the fact that the remake for GCN is 1000000x better. It's worth buying just for the crappy voice acting though. It's hilarious.
Jedilink- 04-28-2006
Well, I meant the GC exclusive ones! Resident Evil 0 is pretty cool! I liked it quite a bit. RE2 and 3 weren't all spiffed up for the GC but 0 was made just for it and RE1 was remade for it. 0 and 1 are both really good! 2 is a great game...maybe not as good on GC as it might've been on Nintendo 64 or something, but it was still good! I haven't played through RE3 though! :P
But yeah if you've never played Resident Evil Zero then go get it! It's a worthy prequel to the series! And I have Code Veronica...even though it's a LITTLE dated, it's still a great game! :D
True Grave- 04-28-2006
The remake, or REmake, or REbirth, which ever way you will hear fans type it out, is the reason why I even own a cube. And RE Zero is just as good. Then RE4 came out. And the cube won the console war. Until it was ported onto the PS2. Which was okay, in one way the game came home (despite Mikami's hatred for Sony) to its original system, and in another its a smart move for the game to gross more income for Capcom.
The other RE games are nice to own on GC just to have the entire saga on one system. RE2 is on of the biggest sequels ever made during its time. RE3 comtinued the zombie goodness. RE Code Veronica has alot good points and alot of bad points. But the overall plot was necessary to the RE timeline.
Jedilink- 04-29-2006
In terms of the actual "Official" Resident Evil games, all of em are good! But it's kinda odd that only a couple are up to snuff when you play em on cube though! :P It's kinda weird but oh well, it's all good. A good game is a good game! Super Mario Brothers is still just as good now as it ever was! And that is a FACT! But yeah let's see...if you likes RPG's then Tales of Symphonia was pretty coolness! I'd also recommend Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles (even though it's more of an action RPG :P) and Zelda: four Swords adventures! Not many people played it and that's too bad, it's really a cool game! But of course ANY Zelda game is good in the first place! In terms of Shooters I liked Call of Duty: Finest Hour. Geist is pretty cool! I got my copy at Toys 'R Us for 10 bucks! Don't get it for 50 I say! :P Cheaper is better for me! The Metroid Prime games are some of the best games you can play! Go buy them both...NOW!!!! :D

I reccomend the underrated, yet still amusing game P.N. 03. Seein ghow its a brain child of the mighty Shinji Mikami, and has some really nice graphics and music its worth a play. Some of the boss fights are really cool, and fun to play. The game itself is under $20 if under $10.
Jedilink- 05-02-2006
Yeah I heard bad reviews on it but I was wanting to check it out anyway! I thought that it looked really cool! I'll check it out some time!
True Grave- 05-03-2006
Like I said its really worth your time. My only grip is how you unlock extra costumes for the character. Its quite tedious, and gets boring. But its worth it to see her dance around zapping robots in a g-string. She's like a digital stripper really (sans the nudity), with her way of dancing while attacking and such.
