Best twist movies.(NO SPOILERS PLEASE)
1.Oldboy 2.Jacobs Latter 3.Usual Suspects 4.The Game 5.The Crying Game (Lets keep this thread spoiler free so we dont ruin it for other people.) Okay all these movies were very good and would have been almost just as good without their twists, I beleive a good twist movie should'nt rely on just a simple twist to be reconized or remembered they should be good without them first. The Crying Game: This is a great film, it has superb acting, great plot setup and a very mean twist. The best part about it is the twist is right in front of you but you wont notice it. The Game: Pretty good drama film, but the twist in this one is what made it something really special. Usual Suspects: This is a badass crime drama with a nice cast and style, a very clever satisfying twist to boot. Jacobs Latter: This movie although not horror will most likely scare the crap out of you, never has on screen images haunted me so deeply. One of the creators of the Silent Hill games actually admitted to borrowing allot of influence from this film. The twist is equally haunting as the rest of the film yet very satisfying. Oldboy: I remember watching the other films and thinking about how great their twists were but no twist has ever grabbed me by the balls like this one. Its great because some very irelevant seeming details of the plot comeback in your face and show their meaning. But the film as a whole is a masterpeice great music, perfect acting, neat art direction, memorable cinamatography, and great locations. This is a must see.

Well,I'd have to say Millenium Actress, with english subtitles (it's in Japanese...) The movie was really good,it may have been a romance movie but it was actually much more than that. It was a story of a girl who ran into an artist and fell inlove, the artist was being chased by the police and dropped his key,the girl was offered the job as actress and took it, for the sake of returning the key to him.So for years she chases him.And alot of times in the movie it seemed like the reporters interviewing the now old actress, were with her in her flash backs. The main twist was the fact her life seem to have reflected on her movies. So you wonder if she really was in all of those situations like in her movies. The movie is just something you have to see to understand it. So I recommend (even if you don't like romance movies) to try to rent this movie. I fell in love with it,simply because there was so much going on in this movie. also I'm not giving anything away, there is so much in this movie that this message can't even tell!

Dalemushashi- 04-01-2007

This list were just my personal picks(it wasnt a cosensus sort of thing). I've never seen Lucky NUmber Sleven.

Sal- 04-01-2007

its kinda "new"

Lisker- 04-01-2007

I loved Lucky Number Slevin's plot twist near the end, it changes the way you look at the main character completely.

RedNinja- 04-05-2007

Gotta agree with Lisker - Lucky # Slevin.

Lisker- 04-05-2007

NARC. Ray Liotta's character was cool as hell, and really well developed.

ConSmithsAngel- 04-05-2007

Well,I've never seen it so I would'nt know.

True Grave- 04-05-2007

Thanks Lisker, took the words right outta my mouth.

RedNinja- 04-16-2007

Wait...I just realized that nobody's contributed Fight Club. What the fuck?

Lisker- 04-16-2007

Good one.

Akura- 04-17-2007

At the moment, all I can think of is Hot Fuzz. I REALLY didn't expect that.

True Grave- 04-18-2007

Wow, I just got Smoking Aces on DVD, and its twist was so awesome. Really, there were a ton of twists, so I had to put this one in the list. The big twist kinda reminded me of Lucky Number Slevin. And yeah Fight Club was a trip, but I knew about the twist years before I actually sat down and watched the movie. Thank you pop culture and gossip.
