Devil man..not the tv show.
Im not talkin about the 70s, made for kids devilman tv show. im talking about amon apocalypse of devilman, darkside of devilman ,and those ovas, as well as devil flux. has anyone ever watched or read any of these?

The OVA from the 80s was one of the first anime I had the pleasure of watching. My stepbrother had loads of vhs bootlegs with subs since at that time, I dont even think any American companies had licensed any anime in terms of the more adult-themed titles. But yeah, it was Devilman's style that really made me a fan of anime.

yeah, the violence and the subject of demons is what made the networks shun it. i dont see why they wouldnt put it up now, acceptance of that shit would go through the roof. people arent like they used to be. i want them to relese amon apocalypse of devilman in english, with subs. the dubs are ok, but they were kinda lame. "GOD WHY!!!!"x3, akira fudo. lol
