Jedilink- 05-14-2006

Well the comic shop is in a town like 40 miles away from here. I'm only up there two days a week (Tuesday and Thursday). And the guy doens' even have em yet anyway. :P So yeah scan em for me! Thanks! :)

Akushitsu- 05-14-2006

Fulllgooorrr~! ...XD Erm, they're on the K7 website now. Uh, the SINdicate. I'll have to find a new place to upload them since photobucket is a whore. Here's the place for the past issues! - http://www.killer7.3dactionplanet.gamespy.com/comic.htm Oh, and when I said Jedilink...I MEANT True Grave. I posted that at like...8 this morning. XD My brain. She is dead. Scans coming soon!

Akushitsu- 05-14-2006

...bah, it's on photobucket. They'll catch me again (eventually), but until they do...! (In the future I may be forced to directly send them to Topdrunkee. Save these and put 'em on your site sometime soon!) Anybody have any ideas for a gallery hosting...place...for June? Back to the comic: I really love this issue (I even bought the alternate cover!). I'm not sure why. Maybe it has a certain someone in it. :3 (No, not Dan. I freakin' WISH. Mask needs to go away.) Let's just say he's...green. "KEVIN!?" ...No. There is no Elton John in this issue. As always, though, they've tweeked a few things from the game; Mills is denying his love for Garcie; Garcian swears every other sentence; Mask sets everything on fire (he's good at that); and people get shot in the face. BE EXCITED. http://s75.photobucket.com/albums/i313/issuethree/

Akura- 05-14-2006

GAH, you say love, I think slash. >_>;;; Dammit, Garcian/Mills. Dammit. Like at the end of the game. I'm like 'Wtf, Garcy/Mills? o__O' Anyway, whatever. Saving the comic now, will read it properly later. 20 minutes for morning tea is NOT a lot.

Akura- 05-14-2006

ARGH MILLS WHAT ARE YOU DOING AT A STRIP CLUB XDDD Anyway, everyone is so... eww. KUN LAN! He's no longer green T___T And he's so... I dunno, he reminds me of the hypnotist from Little Britain. o_O; And his nails! He could claw your heart out with those. Jean was much much better looking in the game, but I have to admit, he looks like he's wearing what Snake wears. Ok, Akushitsu, I admit it, Ulmeyda is ugly as. And the alternate cover is nicer. Coyote is hawt. ~_~ And Kaede ain't that bad either. The lips are getting to me though =P

Akushitsu- 05-15-2006

...if you don't like the drawing style, don't read the comic? >.> That's pretty much what MAKES the comic. In my opinion, Kun looks freakin' awesome. He's still green...just a bit of a darker green. I wouldn't wanna be staring at neon green anyway. The strip club Mills is at? ...Isn't it obvious the man is in denial? XD "This isn't turning me on like I thought it would..." Next issue probably has Coyote in it. Probably. I mean, he's on the cover AND on the mini poster. Mask needs to go...get a sundae, or something, and stop hogging all the damn attention.

I kinda like the alternate cover as well. kaede has a nice bod. What was the original cover anyway? Looks like it's time for me to update. (I was waiting for the comic scans.) I'll prolly upload them by thursday or friday of this week. Also have to redo my damn layout, because it doesn't show up properly in firefox. BTW the dialogue sucks. It was so damn ILL when Kun Lan said "A real gentlemen would dress more appropiately for his death." in the comic he just said"It's not time for you to die Kenjiro Matsuoka. not just yet." Sure that's exactly what Kun Lan was trying to say,but I think the line he had in the game sounded more original & convincing. It fit his character more, because he likes to speak using a lot of ironic dark humour.

KIRBY 7- 05-15-2006

Mask needs to go...get a sundae, or something, and stop hogging all the damn attention. Damn straight, and I thought Dan Smith hogged all the spotlight in the game. Mask just has way too much screen time. ...if you don't like the drawing style, don't read the comic? >.> Time for moi to do my annoying ass evaluations with the comic again. I don't really like the art style myself. Look what they did to Julia kisugi. She's supposed to be a japanese OL not some south asian chick from hong kong. Though I can always ignore the art work the thing that bothers me most, and will probably be a reoccurring trend through out the comic is how horrible the story is. The thing I liked about Killer 7 was that everybody in the game was a sarcastic badass yet at the same time they all had complex political agendas. None of this easy cop out wacko religious bs. The only individuals in the game that seemed religious were Kun Lan & (celestial) Harman Smith, everybody else spoke politcally. (Okay Ulmeyda was kinda religious I guess, but IMO he was just insane not religious.) The comic from what I've seen seems to be going the stereotypical route turning Garcian into a 1 dimensional tough guy badass, and his enemies are all stupid pricks. I swear you could pretty much replace Garcian with Leon S. kennedy & Kun Lan with that Religious plagas priest, and you'll have pretty much the same story as RE 4. Leon/Garcian: Always says some stereotypical corny cheeseball one liner Rising wind/Bad guys in RE 4: Always speak in some insanely retarded off the wall overly religious monolouge. Once again they seemed to have misinterpreted every single scene from the game. The meeting in the game where all the politicians gun each other down was about Japan's liberal party (Left wing) trying to repair their fractured relationship with the United States however the United States deemed Japan expendable or not worth the time so they broke off the peace talks. (You can learn all this info just by listening to Travis, but I guess everybody seems to think that he speaks nonsense. Majority of the relevant info in the game are mostly relayed to you by either Iwazaru or Travis.) Jean Depaul does not work for the Japanese U.N. party,he's part of a 3rd party (IEC/ International Ethics Commitee) that mediates the countries of the east to prevent total war. (Though their goal was to get the United States to destroy the Japanese government so they can repopulate Japan with Russians & other Asian ethnicities. In Killer 7 japan is pretty much seen as obsolete, and a dying country much like how Japan really is viewed politcally today in real life.) The whole cut scene with Matsuoka was taken way out of context. In the game they were basically talking about how no matter what they tried they couldn't avoid Japan becoming a vassal state of the west. (A fear that the japanese have had ever since M.C. perry arrived on japanese shores.) In the comic once again the writer has them (rising wind or whatever they're called.) spitting religious nonsense. Once again the Yakumo is not some secret evil power or whatever the hell it is in the comic. The yakumo is just a cabinet policy a piece of paper that rewrites the Japanese constitution to mask their agenda from the United States. As for Kasai (Comic calls him Kusai.) he has nothing to do with the japanese Right wing party. So I don't understand why Garcian would ask Kasai about the Japanese U.N. party (Rising wind in the comic.) kasai is a a liberal for godsakes. The only reason why he knew where the secret peace talks were being held is,because the two japanese guys that were there are also part of Japan's left wing party. Normally I wouldn't care, and let the writers do their job. The problem I'm seeing is that people out there actually think this is what the story for Killer 7 is really about. I'm guessing the dialogue in Killer 7 really does sound like uninteligble nonsense to individuals who aren't familiar with the geo political relationship that Japan & the United States share with one another. (The writer of the comic doesn't seem to realize that almost everybody in Killer 7 speaks using metaphors, because almost every line that he uses from the game seems to be spoken literally rather than the originally intended meaning. No offense to the writer or what not. He's done more for the comic industry than I ever have.)

...if you don't like the drawing style, don't read the comic? >.> No no, the drawing style is wicked. It's just... I'm picky as to how people look. That made no sense, but whatever. School is getting to my head.

Akushitsu- 05-16-2006

Akura, I'm picky as to how people look too...but...I'm not gonna die over this. XD Kun looks scary as fuck (to me. I just love Kun because he's a crazy bitch) and Kaede wants to give you a big kiss with those lips of hers. I dunno. I've come to like the style because I can't tell you how tired I am of seeing characters "softened" up. Like...Shoujo, ya dig? This artist wants to show expression and rough features and dammit, he will show expression and rough features to the max! As for the plot of the comic...I seriously don't care anymore. I love Killer 7, the game, and the comic isn't making me have any doubts about the storyline. I'm not really interested in what other people get out of the storyline and I'm guessing neither do the writer's. This is entertainment, guys. Did you seriously expect it to be accurate? I'm just in it to see the Smiths kick ass. Except you, Mask, get the fuck out of my comic.

Anyway, whatever. Anything IS better than shoujo. I just can't deal with shoujo. Mask... Mask is still teh love. He's just... very very very homicidal now.

Akushitsu- 05-16-2006

I have no idea if your comment was supposed to be sarcastic or not...or what the hell you meant by it. Whatever. o.o I think people only like Mask because he can head-butt bullets. I'm sure if Kevin did that he'd get the fangirls/fanboys (since the girls don't stand a chance). Meh. ...and my puppy just fell behind my bed. ..XD Just, you know, fyi.

Akura- 05-16-2006

I wasn't being sarcastic! You can think I was being sarcastic or whatever... gah.

Akushitsu- 05-16-2006

Sorry Akura! XD It just...sounded like something I would say, but sarcastically. Then again, I can interpret anything to be sarcastic. ^_^; Sorry. Uh, yeah, comic. Back on topic we SO go. ...is it just me, or do Kun and Harman hate each other more than usual? I mean, in the game they were at least...civil. It's not nice to tell your friends to "go to HELL."
