Evangelion sucks
I hate it, it is super ultra mega stupid!!!!!!!

I had to watch it because someone else made me watch some, I realized how fucking emo it was with the constant lines like the porcupine who keeps his friends away because of his horniness or some shit. It's like Gundam for people who think the average anime isn't fucking overemotional and melodramatic enough. Ugh.

:D Also watch Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, its the anti-EVA.

I haven't watched Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann yet. But it looks really good and funny/cool.

I won't watch Eva Its a manifestation of everything I dislike about anime. Cept there aren't any ninja cat-boys running around in orange.

I was unfortunate to have caught a glimpse of an episode of the series. My cousins love it, but I hate it so much I'd love to vomit numerous times as defense mechanism whenever I set eyes on the show. Evangelion 30 years later:

Why do I think of Cromartie High School when I see that?

Cromartie High School is ultra badass. It's like the polar opposite of Evangelion, and will one day probably save the world.

If they make more episodes of the anime! I know there are a decent number of books in the manga, so I don't know why they couldn't continue the anime.

wha, i loved evangelion and still have a good deal of respect for it it's certainly more intelligently written than most anime

My mind's just boggling over the idea how many times Eva had to be REDONE. Eva did try to do some new things in terms of the technical animation and the mech design, back then it was new and all. I dug Gurren Lagann but I couldn't really take it seriously as "TEH MOS AWSUM ANIMU EVARR". Sure beats having to watch some of the crap that came out this year though.
