RAWKS MY PANTS OFF!!! I must explain. Being someone who is a huge movie fanatic, I am in love with thid film now. It's excrutiatingly funny, it's way over the top in terms of violence and all that. It's got all the cameos in all the right places. It's just amazing. Seriously. If you don't see this film, I MUST kill your whole family....and you too of course. Planet Terror does look pretty cool, Robert Rodriguez adds a hell of a unique style to his movies. ...not counting Spy Kids.

Dude, screw Shark Boy and Lava Girl. They'd probably get raped, ripped apart, and eaten within the first 5 minutes or something. But no seriously, this film was AMAZING. If there's any film that has made me want to cheer lately (besides in December after seeing Lady Vengeance), it's this movie. I wanted to applaud, laugh, and just never let it end. Seriously. I loved this movie. Everyone keeps looking at Planet Terror because it's much crazier. However I liked Death Proof a bit better. It's a bit of a better film. It also has one of the best car chase sequences I've ever seen. But really the campyness, the insanity, the nastyness, and just the overall LACK of restrictions on this one, just made me adore it. Seriously, WATCH IT. I mean it!

yeah 8 bucks for over 3 hours of an amazing flick! Well it's not 8 dollars here though. Your theaters must suck man! :( Sorry bout that!!!

I'm probably going to just wait until it's released on video, same with 300. Funny how the MPAA is so obsessed with people watching movies online when the biggest cause of their decreasing theatrical sales is probably themselves, with their need to release movies on dvd and vhs after only 2 or 3 months.

I liked it, but it definatly wasn't what I was expecting. They actually made the movies bad. I thought that they would only have the illusion of being bad, but the movies actually did suck, blew my mind.

Wow, I'm probably going to miss out on this movie. But it was worth it...I got to see the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie. ^_^

Are you saying that you are in the Killer7 SINdicate and you hated a film as insane and depraved as Grindhouse!?!?!?!? I cannot express my....well something for you. I don't understand how ANYONE cannot find entertainment in that film. It was amazing! And how was the Hunger Force movie?! :D

Agree with Jedilink. If you can't stomach Grindhouse then you have no right to play K7. However Grindhouse is no longer in theaters... I mean it did do REALLY bad in sales, but there is the rumor that they are breaking the movies up and going to re-release them. But I'd rather see a DVD release first, along with MACHETE!

I LOVED Planet terror, but Deathproof blew until the car chase sequence(if I wanted to see the life of a preppy girl I'd go clubbing with the sluts back at school). PT had some parts that made me cringe though, some were ven worse than Lotus tits! And I was chewing gum when the guy stuck out his tongue, I almost threw up D:

Haha. Yeah I'm sorry. I know that everyone thinks that Death Proof isn't good for some reason, but I loved it. Yes there's a lot of talking, but still, as a FILM...it's a more worthwhile movie. It's not as insane as Planet Terror, but it's got a somewhat better payoff really. I mean, I've never seen that type of thing in a film! I thought the car chase was fantastic! One of the best ones I've ever seen in fact! High energy, lots of speed, but it didn't get hokey because they didn't show that, "Oh no something's in the way, and now that we've shown it first, we'll crash into it here in a second" like all other car chases do. Planet Terror is a big B-Movie. But Death Proof is actually a good movie...with some b-grade bits put in there. I loved some of the references. I also loved it that I KNOW that there were some things I got, that no one else did. Like when the radio DJ girl was sitting out front on the porch of that bar with her billboard across the street. Stunman Mike comes out and asks who she is and she calls him "Zatoichi" because he isn't seeing the billboard for her show across the street. NO ONE GOT THAT in the WHOLE theater but me! So I'm crackin up and no one else is! It was even funnier that I got it and no one else did! I also loved when Tarantino's rapist character started changing. It was just like in The Thing. I loved it! :D

Yeah looks like you and me were the only ones who got the Zatoichi joke. There are so many damn references in the movies its almost hard to count them all.
