Gungrave
Anyone saw gungrave? I discovered it some time ago. It never arrived in italy, I watched a lame low quality fansub. I love it. I mean, a mafia anime that turns into a shonen, LOL, it's pretty original. (like "from dusk till dawn", a film that is a criminal movie in the first half and a vampire movie in the second) It's based on the Gungrave videogame. I never played it, tought. I think it must be heavly plot oriented to originate an anime like this.

Gungrave was just a badass arcade style shoot em up. The story for GG OVERDOSE is complete shit. It's amazing to see how well written the Gungrave anime was. well anyway i loved the series, the whole betrayel shit was amazingly developed, and the artdirector pulled osme really nice picturized scenes. it helped alot to develop empathy and sympathy for protagonist.
