Yeah if Killer7 came out with anything else, it probably wouldn't be a game. Now if it WAS, it probably wouldn't play the same (on-rails, hold up gun to shoot). I mean if they made another Killer7 game I'd want more control over my character. At least be allowed to run around freely inside the levels. :P

What type of game do you think suda 51 will make next (take killer 7 out of the equation) i know one of the 3 will be a sequel to no more heroes but what about the other 2? A sequel to silver case on the wii? maybe snatcher? or something brand new?

I heard Suda said tha if capcom wanted him to do killer 7 sequel, he is up to I hate that capcom own the rights >.< Capcom created the Killer 7. Suda just wrote the story & setting for the characters. (Which is why Killer 7 sort of feels like a goofy version of Silver Case.) Killer 7 would have been an entirely different game had Shinji Mikami not brought Suda on board for the project. I still stand by my theory that Killer 7 will never see a sequel. I don't really think so either. Killer 7 is about politics. Their plot ended when Target Lion ended. I can imagine Killer 7 getting a remake. Which is the only new K7 game I that I could imagine becoming reality. But since Suda's styles really don't utilize sequels to continue his story would be the better reason. Which is why F.S.R. and silver case exist. They just continue the idea, the theme without relying on revisiting same locations or characters. The end of thread. Grave said it best why there won't be a sequel. Suda does reuse the same characters though. Check out the novels that were written by the guy who wrote American Psycho. That's the same exact approach that Suda is going for. A series of stories that all take place in the same universe. He reuses some characters only when he feels it's warranted. (Sumio & Tokio appear in at least 3 games. Garcian, Tetsuguro, Sakura & Ed were in two. Toriko, Sundance were referenced in several games, etc.) Suda doesn't care much for "direct" sequels. That's where the name "Kill the past" comes from. He likes to move forward. Which is why I don't believe a sequel will ever happen. Silver Case does have a sequel in the form of Silver Case 25 ward, but that's mostly because it starts an entirely different arc called "Kill the Life" A Killer 7 sequel would only happen if fans kept pestering Suda about it. (That's unlikely imo. General consensus seems to be that most people prefer NMH over K7.) NMH may have sequels, but that because NMH is a different type of game. It's more action based than Suda's other titles. Closest thing might be an anime, manga, or novel. And my guess would be a Japan-only release. Why Japan? Killer 7 didn't sell at all in Japan. Final sales: 370,000 worldwide(flop) Killer 7 (PS2, GC) - 12,000 units in Japan - 150,000 units in North America - 100,000 units in Europe If a K7 game were to be nation exclusive it would most likely be Europe or the U.S. where most of K7's sales were made. i know one of the 3 will be a sequel to no more heroes but what about the other 2? A sequel to silver case on the wii? maybe snatcher? or something brand new? The other one is Fatal Frame IV. So that's two down. IMO Fatal Frame IV has the potential to connect with Moonlight Syndrome http://killer7.3dactionplanet.gamespy.com/moonlight.html Moonlight Syndrome was published by Human Silver Case was published by Ascii Flower Sun & Rain was published by Victor Entertainment Killer 7 was published by Capcom The thing all these games have in common is that they have a script that was written by Suda 51. Fatal Frame IV maybe the next game that continues the "Kill the Past" theme. The subtitle for Fatal Frame IV already references Mask, Lunar Eclipses *Moonlight Syndrome*, & memories *All kill the past games are based off of memories including K7 & NMH. No More Heroes is probably a side story like Xed once said. As for the last wii game, who knows. The new Snatcher title is most likely the 360 game. I'm guessing that the remaining Wii game will most likely be an original title that uses & borrows characters from the Silver Case. (Meaning the title won't be FSR, Silver Case, Moonlight Syndrome, K7, etc.) Who knows what theme the game would have. (Silver Case is dark & political/psycho horror, FSR is dark & comical with sexually related humour, K7 is dark political satire, Moonlight Syndrome is a dark/horror love story, NMH is social satire.)

I'm guessing that the remaining Wii game will most likely be an original title that uses & borrows characters from the Silver Case. (Meaning the title won't be FSR, Silver Case, Moonlight Syndrome, K7, etc.) IMO a game like this will most probably come out on the ds, I see no other reason for the remakes otherwise. And Suda himself once said that the wii is too much for casual gamers, I really don't think he's going to do an important game like that on the wii. Maybe one of those two games would be a Snatcher side story (Project S is going to be a franchise, not a single game), but I'm really not sure for the same reason of the other game. BTW, how many games is he developing? Kurayami, FF4, two wii games, F.S.R. and SC remakes... come on, have mercy, I have to sell my house to buy all this shit XD

interview with suda 51 http://www.next-gen.biz/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=8769&Itemid=2&limit=1&limitstart=0 looks like I'm going to have to buy a 360 than a ps3

Xed- 02-06-2008

Shit, I bought the ps3 almost only for Kurayami, now I want to kill Suda.

kaxantrom- 03-01-2008

I wan silver case for ds YAY :P Wow I did not know that capcom did Killer 7 brand, I thought it was an idea of Suda but that is good that there can be a killer 7 sequel without killer 7 and I'd like Mikami to be involve in it and Xed and have to lol about your comment, I know how you feel you remind me of a friend that bought a ps3 just for monster hunter 3 and later an announcement they said it was going to be just for wii, lol he was so angry :P

Check out the Kobayashi interviews. (On IGN or Youtube) In them he states that they had an idea for a game that used 7 hitmen. Capcom wanted to find a way to make the Killer 7 game stand out from the crowd.. That's when Mikami came in with Suda 51. Kobayashi said that Suda 51 is known for creating settings & plots that only he can think of. (He wasn't wrong about that.) If Killer 7 were originally a conception from Suda 51. Most likely he probably would've turned the Killer 7 into a generic sect of schizoid assassins who have a minour role in the story. (Like Julia Kisugi from Sunset, or the Tramps from Silver Case.) The main character would've probably been Jack Foley instead of Killer 7 had Suda created the Killer 7 ip. (Jack is the guy who conducted the Jaco Checkbox reports.) I thought it was an idea of Suda but that is good that there can be a killer 7 sequel without killer 7 and I'd like Mikami to be involve in it I think a Killer 7 without Suda 51 would suck hard. Have you've ever seen Battle Royale 2? That's what a sequel to Killer 7 would look like. Unoriginal, & retarded. K7 was more an expression of themes & ideas rather than an actual fable. This is where No More Heroes comes in. NMH is a story that's centered around Travis & Sylvia. Killer 7 was about ideals. The actual characters from Killer 7 are irrelevant. Suda 51/GHM was the ingredient that made K7 stand out like it did. K7 may have been a forgotten game like Shadow of Rome without GHM's "style". You can't really make a NMH without Travis Touchdown. You can make a new Killer 7 without Harman & crew. (It's called Silver Case.)
