I was originally going to use Never winter nights, but most K7 fans don't play that game. SO I said ah screw it. I was also going to use Deus Ex, but I don't understand how to mod that game. Let alone how to make a skin that looks exactly like Garcian Smith. The story is really weird, and I don't know how to explain it. Which is why I need to make a trailer video for what I'm currently planning. The story takes place sometime in 2063, but the background story begins in 2012. It's basically what a political war would look like if it were fought between a One world government & an ambivalent entity with celestial like abilities. Here's an excerpt of the opening dialogue. Baal Avatar: Remember these words well: humans are not strong enough creatures to live without relying or without leaning on someone. And so, just as the humans shall cry out to me for deliverance, the fabric of this vast universe shall spin me out again and again... The history of your world has forever been tainted. Ever since mankind pressured it's own will against the limbo of progression. Which therein resulted in a manifestation of paradoxical realities that intertwined, giving rise to a celestial entity who disrupted the manufactured flow of mankind's "pre determined" destiny. She alone has the ability to tip the pillars of political might from one side to the other. If the rights to the "Absolute" are not meant properly. She'll manipulate the "Deus ex Machina", and can create distortions of time & events. In order to restart the conditions anew. This was all made possible by a man. An inquiry that has been proposed since 2012, but the answer has long since diminished. The plot is split into two halves. Kanami's half is the background story. (As well as the main plot.) Garcian just has a typical hitman plot, but you can tell that there's some seriously f'ed up shit going on behind the scenes. Unfortunately hitmen like Garcian are never paid for their detective skills so he usually has no idea what's going on. (You do get some answers from Harman Smith, whenever he pops in during cut scenes or special battles. However Harman & Garcian never directly speak to each other.) The Killer 7 chibi graphics were originally made by Kenny Sorel, but I edited them to format into rm2k3. This game is half rpg (The Killer 7 half.) & half digi comic. I'm trying to make the game look like a typical mega cd/ Pc engine rpg/comic. (I think I've done a pretty good job so far.) (The Kanami Yuya half.) K7 SINdrome will be split from two points of view. The Killer 7 & a journalist named Kanami Yuya. (She was originally Maya Amano, but Kanami's personality is so different from hers. That they might as well be different people.) The faces blow up when ever you choose your level. (You use a sniper crosshair to choose a stage that's represented by a face.) blinking Moonlight syndrome loading screen. (A mere cover story, Harman Smith willingly accepted to purposely place his "pieces" into a pack of wolves. In order to keep the balance of "manufactured" tranquility in check. There actually is no war for the Love Drug, because Harman's employer/partner is not interested in it. (You can still use your gun even if you don't reload, but you won't be able to use any special abilities.) Killer 7 battle screens Garcian is the only character who can revive dead allies. She's actually burned to death by falling into a burning building as a result of a "mental trigger" that caused some guy to push her to her death. Her death gets blamed on the Killer 7.) Instead of bullets she has talk bullets. She has to use the think command to refill her mind with witty come backs. Her teammates are an unemployed chick & some mobster, who's specialty is negotiating. Their battle avatars are represented by animated heads. Only Kanami's see's these screens, because her portion of the game is the digicomic. (The Killer 7 only get statics & tv channel switching screens.) Most people treat the NWO as some evil oppressive entity. In SINdrome they're depicted as dumbasses who kill each other over stupid shit. What's sad is that's exactly how people act around here in Seattle. Godsong corp. ~ Henrik Dullahan Their scenes usually play right after the NWO scenes, despite the fact that they are from rivaling countries. The Godsong are the only true heroes of K7 SINdrome, but they are portrayed to look like a stereotypical "evil capitalist organization". The Silver Fall revelation: A mentally disturbed girl. (Who's very good at pretending to be normal.) She's a necrophiliac. Her mind is controlled by a mental trigger within her sub conscious called the Moth children. They also act as a placebo. Garcian & Sumio find out about her little secret by accident when Sumio stumbles into her closet while he was looking for the bathroom. She guns down her la-*test*-('") meal, & points the gun toward her self. The moth children materialize, begging her to kill Garcian, & Sumio. She ends up burning the entire apartment complex down. Note: She is not the one who kills Kanami Yuya. Kanami is unintentionally killed by a man. Kanami Yuya Day 1 ~ Silver Fall Lodging They have the most interesting dialogue so far, but I haven't archived them yet. (I prefer Kanami's story line, because the dialogue in her game sounds more natural. The dialogue for Garcian's game sounds as pretentious as an episode of Ghost in the Shell, but without the hot cyborg babes in thongs.)

Madelyn Cerisa, the head of the Red Cardinal mob. (I'll let the text speak for itself of what she actually is. This is a scene that plays during Garcian's second mission.) Madelyn Cerisa: If it isn't Mr. Killer Garcian. In the flesh. What brings your splendid eminence to my humble abode? Garcian Smith: I came to chat.... Madelyn Cerisa: Now now Mr. Killer. I beg you please do not mistake I for the countless naive young women who you may have murdered in the past. I know why your're here. I only ask who sent you? Garcian Smith: That's classified information, even I don't know who issued the hit. The only thing that needs to be said is that I get paid quite a substantial sum if I come back with your head served on a silver platter. You've made enemies with all the right people, In all the wrong places, & they all await the news of your death. Madelyn Cerisa: How about I make a counter offer? Garcian Smith: I'm afraid not Ms. Cerisa. Once I take a contract I'm obliged to carry out the hit with no hesitation. You can offer the Killer 7 all the money you have, but that won't stop me from popping a couple slugs straight to your fucking head. Madelyn Cerisa: Very well then. Do as you wish. All of a sudden the Kun Lan laugh plays in the background. The screen starts to shake & flashes of a decapitated head stare straight at you. When the decapitated head disappears, Madelyn Cerisa rises up again with her disfigured face. -end cutscene- Garcian Smith: Son of a bitch!!!! I can't believe my eyes! -Cutscene- A sound effect of a woman screaming, & an animation of Madelyn Cerisa's face falling a part, with her right eye bulging out of her face. -end cutscene- Madelyn Cerisa: Mr. Killer Garcian... Or shall I address you by your other alias, Emir Parkreiner? You of all people should know by now that you can't always trust your eyes to validate what you humans label as the all knowing "Truth" Garcian Smith: Elaborate... Who were they? The one with the blade in his hand. He turned around to speak to me, but I could barely make out what he was saying. All I recall were the words.... "I believe" "I believe"... What is it that he believes in? Who cares he's just a murderer, and I'm a witness. Now I'm afraid that he may come after me as well, but why is it that he hesitated to kill me? Why did it all seem so familiar to me? I heard that the man murdered in the back alley was somebody important. Whoever he was it doesn't matter. Nothing matters. Nothing.... Nothing matters anymore. I... .. I just want to live to see another day. -The screen turns black & an image of a creepy child is displayed on screen.- Child of The Moth: Curiousity killed the cat, but unfortunately for this woman. She does not have nine lives to live. - A creepy screeching moth like noise plays in the background, & the Child of the moth emits a celestial glow of blood red light. -INTRO END- -Garcian's game begins- LOCATION: Tamura Cofee house (Garcian's Room) Note: Garcian Smith lives in a storage room located at the back of a famous cofee house. Hey, Cafe looks stellar. I have a mad crush on anything that's akin to the rpgs of the early to mid-nineties. Not to say you wouldn't surpass them graphically. It's more of a gut-feel. I deem it the romance period of rpgs, in general. Will you try to publish your game, or perhaps submit it as a portfolio piece for a college? You definitely should, if you want to. You have no problems in the vision department. Your work is just baddass, is what it is. And the Silent Hill take on anything is good, IMO.

The Trailer is fragmented & random just like a Killer 7 trailer. Although I may have not used any music from Killer 7 at all. (Save for "Oh my Julia") The soundtrack that I've handpicked has a vibe that's very reminiscent of "Killer 7's style". (IMO, fan games that have soundtracks that mostly consists of music from the game it's based off of. Tend to come off as amateur bullshit.) I've decided to cancel K7 SINdrome once again. There's just too much work involved in this project. I originally envisioned K7 SINdrome as a mere 6 hour quest, but it looks more like it'll take 16+ hours to complete. Now see that's the problem. I don't feel like taking the time to create a 16 hour text adventure game. If this were a dungeon crawler it would be no problem. One of my biggest problems with K7 SINdrome is how I build up all this tension only to ruin everything that I built up. By throwing in some random ass gags. Now normally I would never do that, but K7 was random as hell so I tried to replicate that with Sindrome. (Extreme randomness worked with K7, because that game had an unique art style. It doesn't translate well in SINdrome due to the game looking like some old school rpg.) This is why I'm dropping K7 SINdrome in favour of Daydream Cafe. That way I won't have to adhere to Killer 7 staples. (Such as hokey dialogue, & random ass shit.) Sure Daydream Cafe will still come off as random at times, but at least it won't look "random for the sake of being random." As for Daydream Cafe here's a shot of a battle screen from that game... Calagatha is just a loud mouth & doesn't really do jack shit. He's killed by the Camellia chick, but he haunts her after his death. (Which is kind of odd since she's also a ghost.) In Citadel De Laputa he's usually depicted sitting in a theater with some whores. (Who knows what the hell he's doing? The theater doesn't even show movies. It shows flashes of life.) (Daydream Cafe takes most of it's influences from Persona if anything.) The name "Daydream Cafe", actually comes from a song by a japanese artist named Fayray. I dunno I can't really compare FSR to anything. It used to be a cheap hotel, but it's now a luxurious resort for rich assholes who like to hang around at that place knowing it was once a bloody hell. It's kind of like a perverse fetish for some people. Since the murderer was never caught, the old fat bastards and their 15 year old girlfriends stay there fantisizing that the killer may return and kill them in the act, lol. Of course, the Hotel management is not promoting that image, but hey, it brings clients. Took a look at the trailers of Syndrome, and I've got to hand it to you, that writing is excellent. Are you dropping Syndrome? I hope you maintain this spirit if you pursue Daydream Café. The visual style is interesting. I'm not even trying to guess what's behind all that. The inspiration I mean. The parts I could do without really, are the battles. The sprites are well done and everything in itself is well made, but I think I'd prefer something different for action. Maybe first person shooting sequences or somesuch. Or first person stabbing and punching. How about first person sex sequences? In which you actually gain experience points based on your performance? FPS (First Person Sex)? I'm serious actually. Yeah you can maintain those battle sequences as long you fit in there some FPS. Or torture sequences? Things like that. But it doesn't matter, in Daydream Café you seem to be adopting a slightly different system.

Are you dropping Syndrome? I was going to drop SINdrome, but today I just stumbled upon a Japanese sim game where you play as some white collared worker on the Super Famicom that uses a lot of modern graphics. (They'd be perfect bases to make rpg graphics out of Dan Smith & co.) Although I'm taking a completely different approach with K7 SINdrome now. I'm dropping the Digi comic schtick & going for a full on rpg feel. Kaede,Con & Coyote will share a story in Japan. The story will revolve around the Rapunzel fairy tale. (It's about the time when Kaede used to go out with Matsuken, & then she's dashed away by some Latin heart throb, lol. Con tags along because he's friend with Coyote.) Dan & Garcian Smith will work as Pulp Fiction like hitman as they try to find the whereabouts of Kevin Smith's boyfriend. Their plot is based in Seattle. The new direction I'm taking will start out humourous & over the top, but by the end of K7 SINdrome the game will eventually be as dark & gloomy as the plot depicted in the K7 SINdrome trailer. I prolly won't have any demo for K7 SINdrome untill next year. Since I'm going to start it over, re write everything & make my own sprites for the overhead maps.
