KoF12 simply destroys sf4. It looks exactly like an anime, I love it! The animators are simply GODS.

It's about goddamn time. It's like seeing the characters in Capcom Vs. SNK, the last time we saw them with new sprites. Since they're not releasing them yearly anymore, I guess they finally have time to upgrade the graphics engine.

They had about a year and a half to make this so far. These sprites beat the living shit out of CVS2 or 3rd Strike sprites.

blazingblue looks doujin game in HD, i am not impressed, i hated GG series too, trailer is up on gametrailer user movies KOf12 looks fucking great in better video,terry looks superb however my opinion on judging trailer and on past info its not sprites , these are 3d charcters models with celshading , shading is done to look like 2d sprites, so it makes 2.5 d, but actually they are 3d models. Cant say anything on background. The celshading of this caliber is possble, if you are familiar with idolmaster or naruto 360. SNK said this when they first talk about the game and i had exact same idea how game will look, this is exactly it, but i was doubtful of them pulling this off. So if its 3d models its fucking great work, if its 2d sprites well not that great. And i am not alone on this _______ Recently we've seen a ton of footage from Capcom's upcoming Street Fighter IV, and never to be outdone by the House of Hadoken SNK has answered back with the above clip, the first trailer from King of Fighters XII. The newest King of Fighters title is slated to hit arcades later this year and unnamed consoles at the beginning of 2009. The most stunning thing about that footage is that it's all "kinda 3D". Specifically those are 3D-rendered characters with 3D backgrounds, but the characters all move on a 2D plane and are "textured to look 2D". And theirs a lot more good games to look forward to the just MGS4 and Killzone2. Ash is a man and those character designs started before Maximum impact.

Well i need someone form snk to say that they are handdrawn sprites, some interview in future will confirm it or when we will get previews. When kotaku lied??, why you and drunke hate him i wonder, he also gets podcast invitation form gaming companies. And ash is she , even though she looks like he, i mean i was sarcastic. MGS4 and K2 are AAA, i meant AAA(taht will own other games) titles confirmed coming this year.

They are hand drawn everyone knows that now. I can even tell by looking at it(Notice the slight bitsyness that occurs when the sprites are zoomed in). You never saw the fake Sega Kotaku list with Shenmue3 on it? How exactly are games that haven't come out yet Triple A titles?

Kotaku is full of shit, really. They've got huge egos and never miss a chance to pat themselves on the back.. I'd be willin to bet most of the games they complain about, they've never even played. They just get mentioned/invited to stuff because they'r in the little 'clique' of fellow gaming "journalists" that think highly of themselves. KOF XII does look impressive. They big sprites remind me back when Art of Fighting 3 first came out. Where's Mai? :D I'll definitely be importing this for PS3. I agree about this kickin the shit out of SF4, though. Capcom took too long of a vacation which is why they said in a 1up interview sometime about not as many people being able to(or remember how to) do a 2D fighter.

K2 graphics dont need expalantion, its shooter all it needs is average gameplay. There games like these but franchise, production values and hype + possible delivery makes them AAA. Look at dmc4 , its what i expected and i believe resi5 will own too. Resi5 is in my toplist right now, what the fuck they will do next with their engine after dmc4 is unthinkable.

You do realize your just assuming games will be good because they have a big budget and hype. Then assuming others won't be good because of a few things you heard. They probably will be good but this is still all assumptions at this point.

You know it boils down to your gaming wisdom, i am actually counting evry game i played. Do you know i have played almost evry single game that has come uptill now except sports and strategy games, evry category evry machine. I have huge fucking list but out of them i have finished 60%. I have been able to do this thanks to piracy in ma country. You just need console rest is cheap like candy, one game cost 1$ and my pals download normally so i get from them. I have been active in nline gaming news ,articles since internet became active in gaming. Since the times when there were few sites and you can hardly find walkthroughs. Thats liitle bit about me.:) So my point is, i have been in this bussiness long enough to judge correctly, i am speaking as analyst so to speak. But ofcourse i could be wrong. Uptill now i have never lost gaming argument regarding future gaming titles for e.g ppl said SH4 gfx are better than resi4 and there was HUGE argument on gfaqs, i was telling them resi4 will own evryone, not only in gfx but in gameplay and shit, and when it came you know what happened. When ps2 had no support in the beginning i was with ps2 form day1, saying wait and watch. I know which game will suck, and MGS4 wont suck. Though i am wrong(many times) in underestimating. I underestimated darkness, deadrising etc they were my least hyped games and became my most fav. I might not like mgs4, but mgs4 will be hit. Lets bet on this, when the mgs4 will come i iwll remind you. Reviews + my personal thoughts. BTW what makes the game AAA MUSIC, GFX, SOUND, cutscenes, VA full of budget, no stones left unturned(wich you can see form trailers). Same i can expect from gow3, it will be epic. rest remains gameplay, which even if is average will make it hit, coz mgs never had kick ass gameplay , i never liked it, but ppl like it. kojima will be criticized heavily to the max if he will shit the game, so he wont. Now if you will dislike mgs4 when it will come even though evryone else will love, thats different issue. Mind you that uptill now there many things pissing me off in MGS4 like monkey on battlefield and shit, but again there is always naomi boobs with physics to compensate. MGS is game with content , it has something for evryone, so i am looking forward to boss fights, story , hot chicks, i hope it wont be totally west pleasing job. you now developers do their best to please fans like what snk did to you, plus what they lack normally is budget, if they have it and team(talent), they go full force, which results in AAA game, and thats kojima scene. So i dont get it why you think MGS4 isnt AAA or will be, i mean it doesnt take any wise person or genius to tell this.
