The series seems to have picked up the Koei/Capcom model. Same old shit, repackaged as a new game. Oneechanbara is basically DMC meets Dynasty Warriors, but Oneechan isn't as good as either of them. However I am digging the new monster types. I'm going to have a blast dicing up them Gatling gun zombie soldiers. Look at the way their heads fly off. I'm a fan of the Oneechan series, because I love the art style, the character designs, the hyper stylized gore, & the godly ass music. Too bad these games are staying at Japan, and the only stuff we are getting are those training games and minigames that nobody want to buy, I hope somebody brings the game here, like Xseed

The models of 360 are so well made that they put other games to shame. You can also undress them and play. The hot sultry body of ladies make you creamy all over. No kidding. This version has nuthin graphically on 360 version. I wish they make another badass title on 360. There are bike action levels in 360 version too, i highly recommend the game over recent conan.

Yeah, I agree. Topdrunkee has shown off Oneechambara on the 360 and its f-ing gorgeous. But of course you get to swing her sword with the Wii-mote! Yeah! (Can you smell the sarcasm?) I really hope the 360 version hits our shores. I mean they put Bulletwitch on the 360, and there are tons of other shitty games, so why not? I want sexy zombie slaying!

Why is it the good ones rarely come to America? Oneechan is more of a guilty pleasure for moi. Onee games have a bad reputation on the net. (In the West at least. The only American places I've seen who actually like the game besides myself is Mad Man's Cafe. They compare the Oneechan games to Ninja Gaiden.) It's like a grindhouse exploitation film. It's so awesomely awful that it rocks. In fact if you love 70's sexploitation flicks, grindhouse shock horror films, then you'll be right at home with Oneechanbara. Since the entire series plays like a parody of 70's exploitation/shock horror films. (In other words Oneechan is basically Kitamura's Versus with scantily clad/nearly naked women instead of Yakuza.) Although I disagree with the review. The original Oneechanbara game was a piece of shit. I bought it anyway, because the cover was sexy, lol. It has a battle system that's almost as complex as Street Fighter II. (You can do standard jump kick 3-hit SF II style combos in Onee 2. I usually start with SF II style 2 in one hit combos & then I finish off with Devil May Cry style chains, followed up with a dragon punch with my sword, & than I finally finish the chain with the time release sword swipe combo.) I haven't bought Oneechanpon yet, http://www.d3p.co.jp/s_20/s20_101.html but it looks like it's the most badass version of Oneechan on the PS2. One of the main selling points imo is how the women actually have realistic proportions according to the fetish that they represent. (Unlike Itagaki's Dead or Alive where every single woman looks like a goddamn blow up doll.) I'll quote what I said in another thread. Onee has the sexy gothic lolita (Saki) the sexy older sister type (Aya) the sexy curvy bijin (Reiko) the sexy western chick (Um the new character from the 360 game.),the sexy S&M chick (Eva),the sexy Pornstar (Riho Futaba, she has no ass, but has big ( + y + ), etc.) To add to that... Makoto is the Japanese school girl fetish, Eva is the sexy S&M bondage queen. (Who looks like an evil green haired Sophia from Battle Arena Toshinden.) Reiko is the MILF. I'd like to try this out, but unfortunately D3 won't see it. Actually D3 has been trying to get the Oneechan games released in the west. (The Japanese D3 division actually takes the time to talk to the overseas fanbase outside of Japan.) If anything Oneechanbara is pretty much in the same boat as Ryu Ga gotoku (Yakuza) The games lose a lot of their charm when they get translated to the West. (With Ryu Ga Gotoku. there's a reason. Those games are heavily embued with Japanese culture.) With Oneechanbra it's inexcusable. They try to tone down the over the top sex appeal of the Oneechan games. The original Oneechanbra game was released in Europe as Zombie zone. What kind of dumbass name is that? That's worse than Yakuza. They should've renamed Oneechanbara into "The Sister Roses" Since that is the nick name that Oneechanbara goes by. Sega Japan & D3 Japan should team up sometime, because both of their games get butchered like hell in the west. I love cheesy action movies a la Versus, so I think this looks hella awesome. It kind of looks like a non-shitty version of Burst Angel. The Oneechanbara games are budget titles in Japan, so they'd be really cheap to sell over here, I'd think. Plus, the undeniable hawtness factor would probably sell this enough copies to make a decent profit, if DoA's any indication.

I have seen that video, have the game and will finish it for the sake of these maidens. Still oneechan gameplay is hell lot smooth, she cuts through like butter. Also the model of her has got shine, sweaty body, then bouncers...you have to 'control' it to feel it, i cant say just see it to feel it...lol. Whn i play i dont know what to concentrate on , killing or making her catwalk and other moves , rotating camera to watch her animations. Since you can tell that tamsoft actually puts a lot of thought into the character designs, as they all represent a different fetish. (Whereas DoA just recycles the same body over & over again & adds a different face over each character.) Some of these women, such as the gothic lolita have superb fashion sense. I could imagine ladies actually wanting to dress like these women. (Well, prolly not Aya since she dresses like a cowgirl stripper, but hell. Man I wish someone would bring vorteX over to NA. I was thinking Gaijinworks(started by former Working Designs) would bring it over since they were apparently looking at EDF 3 before D3 wanted to publish it here. But then again Gaijinworks havent released anything yet and their website seems to be down. If only the Wii and Xbox 360 were region free like PS3. I really dont feel like buying the Japanese versions of consoles again this generation.. and I've never been into mods, so I'll probably end up missing out on a lot of imports.
