Just so everyone here knows, Ichi the Killer 2-disc blood pack edition DVD comes out May 29th.

REALLY!!?!??!!? I'm getting it. It's not going to be like 100,000 dollars or something is is? :'( Because these DVD's for some of these Asian films tend to get too expensive for just a dvd!

Ichi bored me...... Kakihara was the only inter-*test*-('")ing character in that whole film. I guess I'll try to break into the Miike again, (recommendations?) and if it still fails, guess I'll just have to stick with David Cronenberg.

^Tried Gozu? Anyway fellas, I watched Ichi the Killer again this morning and I was thinking of making a fansite. Yes/No? Recommendations for content? Fire ideas at me.

Well, Kakihara is much more of an interesting guy than 1chi I'll give ya that! But I meant the movie. 1chi is a great movie. ^_^ Deadly Outlaw Rekka is cool. :D I love the Dead or Alive movies!!! They're all great!

I love the conflict Ichi carries within himself. Plus the whole superhero idea is really messed up. I mean who made his outfit? Plus why does he fight with blades on his feet? I love the whole mix. Can't wait for this DVD.

Okay so I bought the 2-disc Ichi the Killer. Pretty cool on the outside, BUT I CAN'T GET THE FUCKING DVDS OUT OF THE BLOOD BAG! You'll understand what I mean if you get it. What a horrible design, now I gotta find an empty 2-disc box.

I just saw Visitor Q and I found it quite enjoyable. I'll admit that I laughed at some parts(yes I know I'm sick). The overall expereince of watching what is quite possibly the most un-morale film ever made was somewhat humbling it made me feel good inside. I've only seen this and ITK but I'm convinced in Miikes filmaking ability and I'm planning on purchasing his other films. EDIT: I bought a copy of Fudou:the new generation but when I opened the DVD case it was empty. I'm gonna haft to talk to Media Blasters about this, hopefully they'll straighten this out and get me a new copy.

Visitor Q is an amazing piece of film. But you gotta have an open mind, or you'll vomit yourself away. I found that one to be more disturbing in Miike's line up, due to the modern, believeable setting. But yeah I laughed at it too. Fudoh is a great Yakuza movie, make sure they get you a free copy of something for the mess up!

Fudoh is cool. :) Yeah I was thinking of watching Deadly Outlaw Rekka tonight but I watched O Brother, Where Art Thou? instead...MAN what a great film! ^_^ I love your "The Killer" avatar by the way. ;)
