It'd rank up with K7 in my book if the ending wasn,t so rushed and crappy. At least that's what I would've done untill I realized that you're referring to Ghost hunter & not K7,heh heh so uh never mind. (It pays to read every thing within context.) Had that comment been about K7's endings though, I'd have made a long novel length post detailing all the meanings of the endings. Thinking about it. I think I'll do that some day, but not now, since this site desperately needs an update. Though I'll leave off with some food for thought, & I'll go off topic as usual... An interesting thing that I learned from this website
Mr. Kuzunoha is a man who lost his body to some punk kid.
He died protecting that kid, & the kid later died the same day.
It wasn't time for that kid to die yet, so Death (Grim Reaper) gave the kid Kuzunoha's body.
As a result during Devil Summoner 2 Soul Hackers Kuzunoha's concious took control of some occultist's body.
If you played Persona 2 Eternal Punishment, there was a fat old guy named Thedoroki.
Maya & crew were shocked to see how knowledgeable Theodoroki was about demons,& demon summoning considering that he doesn't look the type.
The reality was the Thedoroki guy's body was actually stolen by Kyouji Kuzunoha a profesional Devil Summoner.
The point that I'm getting at is that some people in Japan think that Emir Parkreiner is Sumio & Sumio is now in the body of a black man.
(LOL! What's it like to be a handsome Japanese guy one day & later wake up in the body of a handsome African/Indian American man?)
Course that's all just speculation, & we're still not sure if Killer 7 takes place in the same universe as
(Moonlight Syndrome,SC, & FSR)
The main reason being that the Silver Case timeline is at least 3 or 4 years behind the timeline of Killer 7.
(Silver Case takes place in the present. The first SC was in 1999,SC 25 ward is during 2005,2006.)
Here's an ending movie I made of Smile 2 to paint the picture more clearly.
Oh Topdrunkee you get 100 points for those awesome Kunoichi scans. Hibana = dirty sexual thoughts.Nah, that's just an attractive woman, this is dirty thoughts...
I censored this pic, but you can pretty much make out what's going on in that pic.
Hey did you guys hear about Orochi warriors? Its essentially Dynasty and Samurai Warriors combined which gives you a total of 70 playable characters as they fight to destroy Orochi. That game's old news, I've had since it released two months ago. It's like marvel vs capcom, everybody has exaggerated abilities. (Except Yoshimoto Imagawa.) Tokugawa has a humongous cannon laser, Nobunaga can do super combo psycho crushers, Honda can increase his speed & strength to the point that he moves like a speeding bullet,Zhou Tai has some hardcore combo skills, Zhen Ji has a 100 hand bitch slap & a move that slows everybody down. My favorite ability is Yue Ying's, She has an energy ball of death. If you hit somebody with the energy ball two times in a row the combo will go over 500 hits & the opponent will float up in the air. Here a blurry ass gameplay vid I made. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JA7dzR4tQP0 The best musou game ever made
I liked Samurai Warriors 2 Empires a lot more, it had way more solid gameplay. Didn't play Samurai Warriors 2 though. The first SW sucked, but SW 2 recitified that. Yeah in general I prefer Samurai Warriors over Dynasty Warriors any day. Better characters, move sets, better a.i.,music that actually matches the time period. It's a sad shame DW is way more popular. (SW seems to get hated on by asian americans because it's based off the japanese sengoku period.) You don't really need SW2 since you've already played Empires. (Empires has better gameplay.) Only get SW2 if you want the story mode.
Its a shame that Play isn't as popular as it should be. I guess they stay in business because they review anime and other J ish. I prefer that mag's graphical layout any day.Play has the same loyal fanbase as Gamefan, considering that Play is written by the same writers of Gamefan. Hell I'd probably buy their magazine too if I still read vid game mags. (I grew up with Gamefan.)
I like SW more than DW just becuase its Japanese history, I take ninjas and samurais over chinese warriors and kung fu any day.Actually Dynasty Warriors does have a Samurai -Zhou Tai, & there's only one kung fu guy -Ling Tong in the game. (Although he looks japanese.) Even so Dynasty Warriors is based off the Romance of the Three kingdoms period. (Shaolin monks & Kung fu didn't exist in China yet. Martial arts was still an Indian thang back then.) ROTK armies had more in common with Roman armies rather than that kung fu crap. Samurai Warriors is better anyway simply because it has better gameplay & ninja & samurais.
Unless Topdrunkee knows something we don't...Y'all seem to be forgetting that I lived in Japan for about 4 or 5 years so obviously I use a Japanese PS2. FSR is confusing without Silver Case anyway, so I'd rather wait for the DS Silver Case re release if I were y'all. I didn't finally understand the final plot twist after the ending until I completed it again the other day. I had no idea that the FSR game actually changes it's art & sound design style to look like the Silver Case game after the credits roll. Since this is the ending thread... Here's a blurry vid of the last part of the last level. http://www.killer7.3dactionplanet.gamespy.com/fsrendcut.wmv The first Sumio who makes it to the airplane gate is actually Sundance. Which is why when Toriko comes up to talk to that Sumio only he can see & hear her. The two detectives cornered Sundance Shot & they aren't taking any chances since they know that he shot Sumio into a time slip. After the credits you see a cutscene of a fat guy, when you get a close up on him you find out that he's actually Tetsuguro from the Silver Case. Too bad that my quickcam just reocrded a bright blur of his face during the ending after the credits. Here's another vid showing Sumio ressurecting by shooting himself in the head. http://www.killer7.3dactionplanet.gamespy.com/FSRSUNDANCE.wmv In FSR I think the Silver Case graphic style represents reality without the time distortion of Lospass. The last plot twist is that the fat guy who travels with Sumio was actually his old partner from the Silver Case, Tetsuguro Kusabi (Sumio saw him as Peter Bochwinkur though.) Which means that the person Peter Bochwinkur was looking for the entire time he was at Lospass resort was Toriko Kusabi. Unfortunately he ended up tracing a false lead, since Toriko Kusabi in FSR only existed as an angel of Sundance. Or something like that....heh heh I dunno. Go here to read more about what I though I saw or derived from the ending. forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=35&start=22" target="_blank">http://killer7.6.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=35&start=22
