"Eastern threat"
Due to the length of the post, and amount of content contained in the File,I've decided to place a link to the Eastern Threat article instead. It's unfinished,as I haven't bothered to get into extreme detail about any of the 3 nations yet. http://www.killer7.3dactionplanet.gamespy.com/east.htm LOL! I reccomend that you click on the link just to see the hilarious pics of a man eating a flag. The Korea section is out of whack, and I asure that I didn't make any of that up. Some of those activists really are that crazy. The following is just an intro to the article. Disgruntled Korean man feasts on the Japanese flag. A dramatic political statement to say the least, but not very effective. WARNING: The political views, content, images and quoted language may be quite offensive for some readers. NOTE: THIS ARTICLE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION EASTERN THREAT Disclaimer: The following is written from my point of view, on why & how the status quo of East Asia became to be a powder keg ready to explode at any given time & moment. So if you happen to be an Asian far Leftist...please just move on with your life & ignore what you see in this page, because I have no time to deal with the likes of your kind. This was originally meant to be placed in the story section, but due to the length & opinionated nature of this article I decided to move it to file 7 instead. This article is so long that i consider this paper as un finished. In order to understand the predicament that Killer 7's Japan is in. You must first educate yourself about the current geopolitics of the Asian hemisphere. Out in the east, almost all social ills,& problems within their society (Mostly China & Korea.) no matter how unrelated the events may be, are usually erroneously attributed to Japan. Why you may ask? Because it is a political maneuver meant to divert negative attention away from the "Eastern governments", and place all the blame on Japan, the scapegoat of Asia. For the collective will of Asia still feels that Japan must pay for their transgressions during WW II. Although it may be the year 2006 (50+ yrs. after WW II) the Japanese are still villainized for such acts as the "Nanjing Massacre", "comfort women", History revision, attempted genocide, insufficient apologies, etc. In fact it's actually considered cool & hip to defame Japan in some communities with in Asia.

Its sad that Japan still takes so much flak but of course this is nothing new. Look at the way the french are still perseved as wusses for the way they gave up during the war, or the way people still think of the Nazi's when thinking about Germans. Only the most negative actions of countrys get remembered allot of the time. Japan is used as a scapegoat by the other eastern nations. But the issue of Japan being blamed and attributed to many eastern problems might come from the fact that many less aware or politically concerned individuals in north American and Europe have only heard of Japan because of the heavy influence their pop culture and technology have had on western nations. So when one of these people heres that an asian nation did something bad they'll just think of japan because it's the only nation they've heard of or know something about.

Only the most negative actions of countrys get remembered allot of the time.Good point. As for France specifically, it seems odd how Americans hate the French when they've given us so much, from the Statue of Liberty, to our independance due to their involvement in the American Revolution. I wouldn't put it past some extremist white-trash nutjob to try to bomb the Statue of Liberty because of how much they hate the French.

So when one of these people heres that an asian nation did something bad they'll just think of japan because it's the only nation they've heard of or know something about. It's actually a lot more complex than that. Most peoples view of evil fascist Japan stems from Asian americans such as Iris Chang. I find it hilarious how many people on the internet classify her as a historian, when her book reads more like junior high novel rather than a history book. What's even more comical is that many people in America have no idea that Iris Chang was actually a fraud. http://www.famousplagiarists.com/history.htm#chang Though it should've been obvious. I make it a rule to disregard anything that sounds like it was driven with emotion rather than logic. Emotions originate from feelings, & are often unreliable. You can easily feel sad, but look furious at the same time. Logic on the other hand is usually established by fact or a handful of proven theories & patterns. Many individuals on the net, think that the Japanese killed her. http://www.quicktopic.com/28/H/a8RsjNiknPd6y This is my favorite quote from thread above. If anyone would have a motive to have Iris killed, it would be the Japanese. I have lived in Japan several times and knowing their character, they would go to any extreme for revenge. Laughable, most Japanese can't even read "Rape of Nanking",because it was never translated into Japanese. It really makes moi wonder what part of Japan he was in, because most Japanese usually don't pay attention to politcs or the world outside of Japan. So I believe that his assertions is suspect. (Actually I think it's utter bullshit.) WTF does this knowing their character, they would go to any extreme for revenge. mean anyway? They got Carpet bombed & hit by two atomic bombs by the U.S. yet I don't see Japan holding any grudges. IMO Chang committed suicide, because she was probably on the verge of being publicly exposed as a fraud. If anything Japan is just a pure example of what happens to a country that has been targetted by information warfare through the use of propaganda. I'm not at all that concerned about how or what the west views Japan. Quite frankly much info in the west concerning Japan's subculture & entertainment industry is often fabricated to the extreme. A couple days ago on youtube I saw a guy claiming that "One point English lesson" http://www.devilducky.com/media/52047/ was from an American porno & the girl is not a real japanese woman. He claimed that woman in the video is an asian american pornstar. This pissed moi off, because in reality "One point English lesson" is from the Japanese satire comedy, Vermilion Pleasure Night & the girl is a Japanese woman. I know this for sure, since I stayed up late on fridays & saturdays just to watch VPN. (I mean come on, how many asian american pornstars have you seen who actually know how to speak FLUENT japanese? & I mean fluent. That chick sounded like a native, because she is a native.) That shit pissed moi off, because it seemed like he was implying that the girl was too pretty to be japanese. (Hence he brings up Asian american pornstar.) I did try to correct the fabrications that he was stating as truth, but nobody believed me. Despite the fact that I had both the knowledge & the proof to prove that "One point english lesson" originally came from a late night Japanese tv show & not an American porno. (This may seem irrelevant, but it's leading up to my next point.) So IMO if a group of people in the west can't even get something as petty as that right, & refuse to believe the truth even after it's been explained & shown to them. Than it would be safe to assume that on a world scale it would be near impossible for the west to actually understand the political turmoil in Asia. Because like the encounter that I had above. Most news regarding Japan are usually fabricated. http://ampontan.wordpress.com/2007/03/13/the-foreign-press-on-abe-making-it-up-as-they-go-along/ Why, who knows. Maybe the news has an ulterior motive, or it could be something as simple as not having a proper Japanese translator. The West usually just criticsizes Japan in a condescending "I'm better than you" attitude. So all in all, business as usual. Nothing to be worried about. Japan is in the hotseat, because they are outliving it's usefulness. Now that countries such as Korea & China have finally rissen to reasonable economic standards. The west doesn't really need Japan as a buffer anymore against communism. (China is communist, but they have money. At the end of the day it's all about the dollarbill.) Asia on the other hand is on a completely different level. Some of these individuals just seem completely consumed with irrational hatred. To the point that they'll even cut their hands off just to pro-*test*-('") their disdain of Japan. What's hilarious is that much of the crap that asians are mad about are complete fabrications. (The Japanese atrocities did occur, but the specifications & the reasons why they occurred vary & have been exaggerrated to epic proportions.) http://www.cominganarchy.com/archives/2004/11/11/why-do-china-and-the-koreas-hate-japan/ http://www.cominganarchy.com/archives/2005/04/11/weve-created-a-monster/

The point you make about halfway into your post about the porn is part of a much larget issue, in that Americans are unwilling to accept a different point of view at all, regardless of evidence. Hell, look at this whole war on terror 'debate'. If you criticize the way the war is being handled, you "don't support the troops" and if you if you criticize the war itself, you're "with the enemy." People here like to dumb down things with emotions way, way too much. That's all you'll ever see on one of those Fox News pundit shows.
