Love the anime!!!? Cop the la-*test*-('") game by Grasshopper!!!! http://www.champloo-game.com/ My opinion The anime is pretty bitching,when it's not trying to be serious. Nice blend of both action & comedy. However this game looks like it's going to suck. EDIT: On second thought after looking through the website,this game looks pretty badass. The whole visual style kindsa reminds me of Killer 7.

Wow thank God you saw that its a product of Grasshopper and Suda 51. When I saw these two elements in the opening I had to dunk my head in cold water I was so excited. I love how some of the K7 style is in this game, the blood effects, the text, and the level design all bear resemblance to K7. I have yet to beat the game, I just finished Onimusha Dawn of Dreams wanted to get that outta the way before SC.

the sound effects of the bottons of the page it sound like the killer 7 sound effects, and the cell shade remind me of the game quoted before. xD and the stick man that is dancing of the left inferior corner of the web is very bizarre.

The way the boss fights end, seem like something outta Killer 7. I love that dance man thing, just plain useless!

Yeah I was in.....Meijers! That's it! Acouple weeks ago and Samurai Champloo was only 20 bucks! If I had a Playstation 2....I'm sure I'd get it!

I bought it a week after it was released. And I got stuck on one of Mugen's boss for for like 3 months. I sucked so much that the game gave me 4x health to beat her...

It looks really good,I never knew it was a grasshopper game until recently so I thought someone was gonna screw it up ,but when I heard it was made by Grasshopper I just really want it now!lol,Samurai Champloo is one of my favorite animes also.It kicks ass!

Yeah it's a terrific show! I hope they do a movie of it like they did with Cowboy Bebop! Cowboy Bebop is one of my favorite anime movies!

Do you know where can I buy it? I Bought it from an asshole on ebay but I never recived it. On NCSX and Play Asia I can find only the japanese version.

I just checked videos of this and blood+onenightkiss Champloo looks cool, GHM did decent job. Cutscenes are great, mugen is really funny, i didn't dig anime much but mugen stupidness in the game is unmatched and the VA is supporting his lines. Heck even the cutscenes aren't as good as champloo( i am quite imressed with their work on ps2), the game mechanics are just copy paste with some tweaking and wiimote. suda should have gone with blood one night kiss game on Wii to check if masses are ready, it could have saved his time and efforts for some other game.(NHM took much time). Much better than using old fighting engine and rehashing it for wii into totally new IP. blood+ could have worked in jap market too. It seems i have to give credit to champloo. There is lots other similarities with NMH, the transition of loading screen , the sounds are like NMH, there is cutscene too where mugen girl asks him to bring heavensmile. And is it me or suda tried to make travis care free stupid dud like mugen?

The NMH "kill someone and you get coins" seems inspired by the Champloo game. The animations are so similar. Even the shops you enter in Champloo to buy stuff is echoed in NMH.

I'm thinking of picking this up since it sounds like NMH and is pretty cheap. Y/N?

Yeah now that I have a PS2 I'll try and find that one some time. :)
