This is just based off what I heard about the hardware their using. PS3 would be really overdoing it. Capcom seems likely to go with a budget gameplan at this point.I've been hearing those rumours myself. It does seem quite feasible especially when you consider that this game is only going to be released in Japan. PS2 has a larger user base in jpn than any of the 3 current gen systems out right now. Rumblefish was released on the PS2, & that game's gfx looks about on par with this game. (Hopefully Tatsuko's animation will be far more fluid.)

morrigan and soki addedMorrigan was a given, but Soki? Now that's surprising. Dawn of Dreams happens to be the game that I'm currently playing. I hated most of the onimusha games, but for some reason I actually like Onimusha DOD. (I'm usually not into the more anime style direction either, but in this case I prefer Onimusha more as an anime fanwank game rather than a semi realistic samurai game.) I hope Capcom continues the Onimusha franchise, because DOD's gameplay is off the hook. The best part of DOD is when you play the dark realm using the SF2 costumes. You get to fight with the SF2 themes intact. Like Ryu, Cammy, & Guile's pimping bgm.
