Tatsunoko VS Capcom Cross Generation of Heroes t(o_0)t CAPCOM LIVES!
I was skimming through the Fighter's generation gallery when lo & behold.
That site posted some useful information for once.

I had to check up at this forum just to see if FG wasn't bs'ing.

So far only Chun Li, Ryu & that leader guy from Gatchaman have been confirmed.
Damn this game is going to be huge.
For Capcom I'm holding out for Nina, & Bleu/Deis from Breath of Fire II.
I want to see the Samurai Pizza Cats representing for Tatsunoko.
This shit is looking every bit as good as King of Fighters XII.
Seriously where the fuck did this come from?
I thought Crapcom didn't give a fuck any more, but I guess they really did have an ace up their sleeve.
I'm not exactly a fan of the Capcom vs games. (Save for Capcom vs SNK.)
I'm not complaining though. I'm just glad that Capcom didn't completely abandon beautifully hand drawn 2d.
You know Morrigan is going to be up in this. She needs a new fucking sprite.
I was wondering why Morrigan is showing up as a playable character in that new compile hearts rpg "X-EDGE".

I should've known that it was a sign that a new capcom sprite based fighter was in the horizon.
It didn't make sense to me, because I thought capcom abandoned all their fighting franchises.
X-EDGE is also going to be huge. You can't go wrong when you combine Dark Stalkers/Vampire Saviour & Mana Khemia in the same damn rpg.
Hell I can't wait for Mana Khemia 2.
(I've been playing the original Mana Khemia for the past week. It's mos def one of the top Jrpgs on the Ps2, imo.)
Mana Khemia 2 official sitehttp://mana-khemia.jp/mk2/index.html
Which is coming out 8 days from now.
Mana Khemia's metal is even more thrashing than Guilty Gear's music.

I just wonder why capcom don't like to make 2D sprites anymore, they were the overlords the last two decades.
But still the game looks superb the pizza samurai cats are going to be in this game for sure, it's like my childhood is coming all over my face.

Is it going to be like Rumble Fish? I'm not really familiar with any of their Anime besides Speed Race and SPC's(neither of which I've watched). Sounds like a neat cross-over none the less. I just hope it plays as good as RF and SF4.

They've expressed in Interviews that it's too expensive to make a game that way and that 3rd Strike was thought to be as good as they could make it. What do you mean by 2 decades? Unless your talking 80's, they made a lot of good looking 2-D games then. But since CVS2 they haven't done shit in that area. They've all but abandoned 2-D fighters until recently(sort of). The only place where their more popular then SNK is the US, so their not overlord's of any sort. I have a feeling that at one point or another they'll be laying down some new 2-D sprites, but that won't be till down the road.
EDIT:I take back what I said, Capcom had a lot of good 2-D game offering during the 90's. I just personally don't care for a lot of them. I'm not huge of the Final Fight style of Beat Em UP or Megaman games. I like their 80's stuff much better so I forgot about all their 90's stuff like 3 Wonders, Eco Fighters and Varth.

Holy shit! This is what Street Fighter 4 should've looked like when they made the decision to go 3D. At first, I wasn't sure if it was 2D or 3D the models looked that good.
Give me an option for a Casshern vs Strider Hiryu match and this could be one of my new favorite fighters. I'm hoping Capcom gets this on the PS3 soon.

All signs point to a budget release, Wii and or PS2.

What makes you think it'll be a budget release and for those systems? If you're referring to a North America release, I wouldn't even count on that assuming there's going to be issues with the Tatsunoko license outside of Japan.
I was suggesting PS3 since there are already fighters being released for the system. I think it'll most likely release on PS3 and Xbox 360 since the graphical style reminds me a little of Battle Fantasia. Wii I wouldn't hold out for in terms of a fighter like this.
Then again, maybe I'm just really hopeful for a PS3 release since the system is region free(the main selling point for me).
FUCK you KOFXII and at the same time SF4,
....
And where kofXII being 2d looks 3d this game looks 2d spirites but in 3d
 Get the hell outta here with that shit. SNK is doing the right thing by making high quality 2D fighters survive.
Dalemushashi- 05-22-2008
This is just based off what I heard about the hardware their using. PS3 would be really overdoing it. Capcom seems likely to go with a budget gameplan at this point.
Damn Decoy you dropped your good opinion towards those other two games rather fast. You're being kind of illogical can't all three games coexist? Because SF4's character desighn doesn't match what you want you so you abandon it entirely because they drew Chun Li different? I've even heard good things about SF4's gameplay while their is nothing out about this. Your really jumping the gun here.

I agree, Cel-shading is half assed attempt compared to drawing a 2-D sprite frame by frame. This games looks great though.

You know its pretty natural to favor in excitement what hits your heart more.
BTW its isnt RE thread someone should mek one, coz its another capcom BADASS
'. New to Resident Evil 5’s combat system is the ability to lock to a wall and fire around the corner. Say goodbye to awkward shuffling in order to find a line of sight through a doorway. Strafing is still out, but factor in Chris’ ability to duck and dive with the right stick too and he’s much more agile than Leon. This is just as well, because with a fragile girl in tow you need all the firepower and new skills you can get. Like 4, Resident Evil 5 will appeal to your paternal instincts by asking you to lay down your life for the young lady in need of rescue.
co-op
mercenary mode
and shit sounds amazing trailer to hit 30 of this month
