thanks man!

The CD posted here is the most recent release (ghm#005), which is part of a "trilogy", the three being The Silver #01 Structure, The Silver #02 Destructor and Parade. The original release was a standalone CD (ghm#001) which included 2 bonus tracks called "The Silver Case remix (itoh's remix)" and "The Silver Case (Unplugged ver.)" TopDrunkee's track listing on the site refers to the original release. The first CD of this la-*test*-('") release contains a more complete compilation of all of the original soundtrack. As far as I can tell, this time all of the remix versions were relegated to the 2 dedicated CD's. Just a disclaimer; I didn't rip this, nor am I the source. I'm not divulging the source, and that same person doesn't even wish to get the OST listed on gh dot ffshriner. Or even it's forums. Now that I think of it, I should've added an encription password to the file and let it be known only by known people at this board or something. But the file I'm uploading is a little different from the file I received, in terms of content (I took out a text file that somehow identifies the source), so... I'm just relaying this here since, hell, practically no one knows about this game in the west, and I really believe this will contribute to draw more attention to it. To the respected suda fanbase here at least.

God bless you Kitano.

It's like Xmas all over again. (Except my Xmas sucked. I wasted it playing Dragon Quest.) The first CD of this la-*test*-('") release contains a more complete compilation of all of the original soundtrack. As far as I can tell, this time all of the remix versions were relegated to the 2 dedicated CD's. That fucking sucks. The two Silver Case remixes were the songs that I wanted to hear the most from the original album. Well it looks like I need to add this link to the main DL page. I'm not divulging the source, and that same person doesn't even wish to get the OST listed on gh dot ffshriner. Or even it's forums. That's messed up, but I can understand the notion. I have access to many albums that I have either bought or ripped myself, but I have no desire to have them hosted up at galbadia either.

Awesome. Thank you very much Kitano. The Silver Case theme and a lot of Masafumi Takada has been leaking into my music playlists recently, this will make a worthy addition.

That's messed up, but I can understand the notion. I have access to many albums that I have either bought or ripped myself, but I have no desire to have them hosted up at galbadia either. I didn't get the ost from a publicly available source, but from an individual. I'll hereby refer anyone as a "he", since I don't know the gender of the people I've dealt with. Except the gh shriner grand master, that I know is a "she". Alright, see - I've asked at the galbadia forums for the three albums, and got a reply from one of the posters, which was someone who had a huge collection posted there and was offering everyone to do requests to see if he could get them. So that's what I did, and luckily he replied saying that he found one of the three - The Silver #01. So, basically I asked him "where?", and he offered to reply only through PM, but apparently, for one reason or another, my account there doesn't have that ability. So I gave him an e-mail address. To that address, he gave me a sendspace link with the file, explaining that the person he got it from doesn't want the galbadia shrine grand master to get a hold of his releases. Okay fine - I thought. By opening the file I got, I found a text file that says that the original owner of the file (originally an iso) has got it through Winny, which is a Japanese P2P client. I wasn't familiar with such a client so I did a quick scan on the web and found this wikipedia article saying that the original creator of the client got arrested under charges of distribution of copyrighted material, then after trial he was sentenced to pay a 1.5 million yen fine or something. So, the original iso from which the mp3 files were encoded, most probably came from a Japanese circle. That's basically what happened. If you check out the forums there you'll find me as "mrkitano". Beware though. I acted like a $0,14 hooker to get this, lol. Well, not that much, but pretty differently from the way I express myself here. No, but the individual who got me this is cool and I'm grateful.

Damn.. perfect time for my PC to be busted. Thanks, though! Hopefully the liink will still be working when I get my PC back.

Kitano Smith- 01-23-2008

Just an important clarification - I said earlier that I acted like a $0,14 hooker. That's not true, I put in an extra zero an a comma. I acted like a $14 hooker - I'm not that cheap.

Awesome!

I can't believe GHM used the end credits Kill the Past mix with the corny ass guitars. Here's the original version of Kill the Past. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=E8VXKAVY (Without the out of place sounding guitars.) Here's some FSR remixes of the Silver Case tunes. (There's four in all, but I can't find a way to extract them.) Silver Case (Jazzy lounge mix) http://www.killer7.3dactionplanet.gamespy.com/silvercaseFSRmix.mp3 Sousa (Investigation) FSR remix http://www.killer7.3dactionplanet.gamespy.com/SousaFSRmix.mp3
