BTW is it true that there isn't copyrigth laws in Japan or something like that? You're thinking of China. Japan is quite the opposite. You can actually get arrested in Japan if you're caught downloading music, video games, & such.
I don't quite understand the reason japanese/korean celebrities don't want to be popular outside of japan that is stupid to me, pride?I'll just copy & paste a post that some guy made. (I'm only referencing it, because it's true. For the most part.) http://www.cultureuniversal.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=688 japanese music industry works in mysterious ways without any logic behind it. for an example they have started to remove japanese music videos from youtube even though posting them there can only bring profit to the artist, the label and the tv channel it was ripped from. the whole idea behind this for them seems to be that even if they suspect that someone is actually finding it useful and even if there is no profit involved (in this case meaning money) they will still go to great lengths to get the material removed in one way or another. i mean there is a reason music videos are called promotional videos because they're supposed to be a free sample of the single or the album that the label is trying to get people to buy right ? i mean let's say there's a music video ripped from mtv japan posted on youtube. obviously people outside of japan will never have access to it unless they move to japan so in this case the artist gets more exposure and fans who are also potential buyers through online shops. only logical thing would be that they're only thinking about the japanese people here who don't have cable and thus don't have the access to their channel so they don't want them so see the material on the channel for free. but obviously that would be very bad business cos if a person sees tons of videos coming from one channel then of course there is a chance that a lot of those people will suscribe for the service. but anyway enough about that, the way i see it is that everybody wins if the video is posted and there really is no negative side to it except maybe that you have to find the pirate circles to get access normally and more goes around in those scenes rather than just music videos that are meant to be free. everything in japan when it comes to music goes under the so called dictator policy meaning that if it's not the label using the material then it's illegal in their opinion. not even if it would increase their sales by a lot. -----------
I like this song it is japanse I hope it does not get banned :P http://youtube.com/watch?v=0oRsSifvPFQUgh, that sounds like shit. Though they kinda have a B-52's like appeal to them, but then I'd rather be listening to b-52's.
I guess copyright business is more serious than deleting semi-pornYup, for example my account that I never use is still there. The only reason I made it was because I saw a comment that claimed that japanese chicks would look messed up with thick bodies. So I made that account to prove that fool wrong. Too bad most of the thick chicks I uploaded have all been deleted.
is it true that there isn't copyrigth laws in JapanYou asked if there were no copyright laws in Japan. I stated that Japan does have copyright laws. Japan just happens to be really anal & follows the procedures to a tee. Look at most Japanese websites. The majority are all text based. Why, because it is against the copyright laws for fans to reproduce images over the internet. THis is why most videwogame scans by fan come from websites such as 2ch where the image will be deleted within a week or two.
then whats is it that makes it impossible for Super Robot Taisen (big ass mecha crossover) games to make it to this side of the world,Copyright laws.
if it's not the label using the material then it's illegal in their opinion. not even if it would increase their sales by a lot.
AND PLUS! I uploaded a changed version of Symphony Of Destruction and 99 Ways To Die on there. I took out the original audio and slightly widescreened the video. Well other people STOLE my copy of the videos and have now pasted it onto THEIR profile but yet THEY don't get deleted. I'm not sure but after I started seeing OTHER people with their stolen versions of the slightly changed videos that I uploaded on there...well then I got deleted! So retarded! That's what I was like the first time I got deleted. It's actually a re occurring joke every time I create a new youtube. "How long will Topdrunkee's new youtube account last?" Basically youtube will ignore you as long as the viewers or the copyright holders ignore you. The more attention you get, the more likely you're channel is going to be deleted.
Do you remember, long ago, when I said that this summer I was going to translate moonlight syndrome with a friend that knows japanese? Well, we had a querrel and now we hate each other (or at least I hate her, I don't give a fuck if she hates me or not), so I'm not really seeing this translation being made, sorry.Yeah I remember. I wasn't sure if it was something that you just said you were going to do, or if it was something that you actually were planning to do. Sad shame that MS won't be translated. What was the argument about? I might make a new youtube account just to post gameplay footage of that daydram cafe game I was working on. Haven't worked on it in over five months, but a lot of what I have done looks pretty good. My main problem is that the gameplay isn't anywhere near as hardcore as the Killer7 game I was working on. K7SINdrome had fucking insane computer a.i. (For a real time turn based rpg at least.) Practically everybody would gun you down in seconds if you didn't plan your attacks right.
Yeah I remember. I wasn't sure if it was something that you just said you were going to do, or if it was something that you actually were planning to do.lol, actually the day before I said to her "FUCK YOU BITCH I DON'T WANNA HEAR ABOUT YOU EVER AGAIN", we were talking about translating the game. BTW I have other 2 friends that know japanese. But one is too busy with the university, and the other is gay and has a videogame store. My girlfriend is going to study japanese at the university, but it'll took years from now. On the top of that, with the new twilight syndrome on the ds, Silver Case on the DS, FSR on the DS etc., it's not unlikely to see MS on the DS. Well no I'm saying bullshit. If MS comes out on the DS, it'll never come out of japan, so I can't see the difference. However, I will make the translation if I find someone who knows japanese that wants to help me. Or if I really start to study japanese, I guess. I already know a few things. BTW a lot of people here study japanese to tell you the truth. There's a very idealized vision of japan. For them, is a bizzarro land where 40-years old guys watch dragonball and other animes every day, lol.
BTW a lot of people here study japanese to tell you the truth. There's a very idealized vision of japan. For them, is a bizzarro land where 40-years old guys watch dragonball and other animes every day, lol.I think it's like that everywhere. Even I thought Japan was like that until I actually lived inside the country. Japan feels like the LA/New York, but with Asian people. Instead of guns, you have to worry about people backstabbing you with knives & blades & shit.
