holy crap man. i just found this site yesterday called movie forumz.com, theyve got old movies and movies that are still in theaters, and theyre the actual movies. none of that camera in the guys lap shit. im not sure about all of em, but i watched: Equillibrium (BAAAADDDDAAAAAAAAAASSSSS!) Day of the Dead 28 weeks later and, of course, RE 3. bad thing is, apparently their search engine is down and youve got to manually look thru the damm long archives. im about to look for shoot em up. THanks for the link anyway, teh thoughts appreciated. if movie forumz doesnt have it, ill go there.

They're remaking Day Of The Dead. Oh MAN does it look horrible...PLUS it has Nick Cannon in it. *vomits* You've GOTTA see the trailer. Holy CRAP is it hilarious. Duke Nukem and Ash take craps that could spout better one-liners than that one. And how many times do we need Zombies jumping out of windows?!!? What is the deal!? I'm sick of remakes and this kind of trash explains why I'm kinda hating Hollywood right now. Besides, zombie movies aren't NEARLY as good now as they used to be. Dawn of the Dead (78) is probably always going to be one of my favorite zombie flicks... I HATE remakes! And DO NOT remake Escape From New York PLEASE JESUS!!!!

Yet any one who's been around could tell from a mile away that he's a fraud. (Then again half of those imbeciles fronting on MTV are fake ass bitches.)

Oh, and jedi, Dawn of the Dead is a good movie, at lest the first time i watched it. and on the topic of "hardness" anyone else here think that 50 cent (i call him half dolla), or most rappers for that rapper, are just FAKE AS HELL?

Finally saw War (great name, by the way) not a lot of martial arts, but still some great action scenes. The war going on between the Triad and Yakuza was pretty cool, though Jet Li made them both look like pussies with how easily he handled them. There's a cool plot twist with Li's character, though the following plot twist concerning Statham's character just started making it confusing, and the ending got kind of bad, mostly because of how abruptly it ended.

I'd still go and see it.

I take that back. This movie sucks. The best part of the movie is when a yakuza gets shot while porking some pretty asian broad. The movie just gets worse from there. A lot of wasted potential. There was a lot of people in this movie who know how to fight in real life, but most of these actors weren't even used properly. (Not even Jason Statham. Once again he gets shat on by Jet Li.) First off the Shredder's henchman from the first two TMNT movies doesn't do jack shit. he just gets shot in the face. (He's the big bald yakuza.) Devon Aoki didn't do jack shit. She just stood around looking retarded trying hard to pass off as a japanese national with her funny looking face & her shitty ass japanese linguistics. (She sounded more American than Jason Statham. That's how badf her japanese was,lol.) John Lone doesn't do jack shit either. He just stands around looking pretty with his hot Latina wife. Kane Kosugi actually did get to fight Jet Li, but it only lasted 30 sec. (It was good while it lasted, but no dice.) Ryo Ishibashi was the only guy who got decent screen time with Jet, but then I ask... why? Who watches movies with Ryo (He's the same guy from Miike's Audition.) just to see him kick ass? We watch him for his acting. While Ryo was pretty good in War. It doesn't matter, because he was hardly in it. He spoke & acted like a japanese national. Mainly because he is one, lol. What's funny is that Devon is supposed to be a native too, but she just looks like California azn model trash. I would've preferred a longer more serviceable fight with Kane Kosugi. Kane gets shit on a lot. In both Japan & America. While I personally don't give a fuck about him. I can at least a-*test*-('") that this guy can pull off genuine looking brawls. (Without that wire fu gayness.) In fact that's the only good thing about this movie. No wire fu, that & the scene with the hot White chick with the bit titties. I heard that one of those tall asian guys was actually Liu Kang from the Mortal Kombat movie. If that's true than that sucks even more. He's yet another wasted asset. How the fuck are you going to cast all these actors with martial arts backgrounds, & not use a single one of of them. Save for Jet Li, who pretty much pawns everybody. Note to self: I think it's retarded how all these movies always try to paint Jet Li as some dreamy ass pimp. I highly doubt that girls swarm over him & grab him like that in real life, and if they did. It's only because he's a movie star. Takeshi Kaneshiro is a believable pimp. That Versus guy is also a believable pimp. Bruce Lee was a believable pimp daddy. Or course Sonny & Toshiro Mifune were believable. Old man Takeshi Kitano is a hardcore pimp. Hell, even Jackie Chan is believable. (He has that magnetic Jackie charm.) Every time I see Jet Li pimping in movies. It always looks forced. _______________________ Ah man don't even get me started on the ending. Jason jumps in & tries to take a bullet for Jet, only to get shot in the head by Jet Li. Fuck, who wrote this shit? I wanted a shit for brains 80's style action movie, and War does deliver with the first half hour. Too bad War gets an identity crisis & tries to be some crime epic. (And utterly fails in the process.)

Jet Li's a buddhist and is really zen and shit in real life, so seeing him play an evil, womanizing motherfucker is always odd when you look at what he's like in real life.
