...you've got a point there. I can think of tons of games that are too difficult to the point of being unplayable
True Grave- 10-01-2006
Yeah, and I can't get enough of em, its so weird.
Just set Gungrave on Kick-Ass mode and I hope the game would last longer...
Lisker- 10-01-2006
I was thinking more along the lines of a certain game that requires you to play through it twice just to beat it...
True Grave- 01-13-2007
Tenchu wrath of heaven? Resident Evil 2?
Lisker- 01-14-2007
Ghosts N' Ghouls.
True Grave- 02-20-2007
Hey I was thinking of picking that up on the PSP, any good?
Lisker- 02-20-2007
If you like super hard games, go ahead. It might be the one that makes you stop liking them.
True Grave- 02-20-2007
I like super hard games! I'm actually trying to get through Ninja Gaiden Black on Master Ninja mode. Its the only "extreme difficulty" game I have yet to beat.
So far:
Shinobi on Super
DMC 1, DMC2, DMC3, on Dante must Die mode (DMC1 DMD being the toughest of the three).
God of War on God mode
God Hand on Hard, yet I have not beaten it on "kick me" mode.
Viewtiful Joe 1&2 on V-rated
Resident Evil 4 on Professional
MGS2, MGS3 on eurpoean extreme difficulty
Castlevania LoI on CRAZY and Castlevania CoD on CRAZY modes.
and thats all I can remember for now.

Respek.

Kepsers?
TheBloodyHeartland- 08-07-2007
Try playing the first game on kick ass. bunji will fuck your world up.
the second game was badass, but i felt it was more of a spinoff. like grave shouldnt be able to go on after the end of the first one.
the first one was so much more ...awsome.
darker, crazier, OH HELL YEAH!
True Grave- 08-08-2007
Ah, a fellow person who has played both Gungraves.
Yeah the second game reeked of the stereotypical "anime" look, feel, plot, etc.
The first game was superior in terms of the moods, settings, and characters, however the second game was more fun to play. Don't get me wrong, I love the first game, but the new demolition shots and characters were such a fresh addition.
Wow, methinks I should dust off the PS2 and fire up my CERBEROS guns.
Lisker- 08-08-2007
The story was short, but definitely was pretty cool. I just can't find the gameplay fun though, it seems too repetitive, and if you just keep shooting, and pausing when it's safe so you heal automatically, you don't have any risk of dying. Is the second much better in overall gameplay?
TheBloodyHeartland- 08-08-2007
The 2nd one is way longer, with improved contols, faster movement, 2 more characters and more bosses. well, more minibosses, but some of em are still pretty challenging. the difficulty is weird though. one level will be easy, then the next will be hard, then the next hard, then easy, then hard, etc. lol.
IMO, the first one is alot better, but thats just me...
i should play that game again...
TheBloodyHeartland- 08-08-2007
Grave is a long/ medium range guy, overall good.
Juji has gunblades, but is alot stronger up close, has more moves at short range.
Billy uses an electric guitar and is better at long range.
Also, in this game , each character has 9 demolition shots.
